Have a little time to support quality public television?
Wisconsin Public Television is looking for volunteers to help during our on-air Auction in June. Over the course of five days, 900 energetic community volunteers will work together to auction-off 3,000 items on live television to benefit programming and outreach at WPT. Auction 2010 will run Wednesday, June 2 – Sunday, June 6. While we are especially in need of phone bank volunteers, there is a great volunteer job for everyone at Auction- behind the scenes or on camera. Helping at Auction only takes a few hours of your time, and we have a variety of evening and weekend shifts to choose from. After their shifts, all volunteers are treated to tasty refreshments donated by local businesses. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: This is a great, easy way to complete required service hours for National Honor Society, graduation or other organizations.
