Has UNR considered Google Apps for Higher Education?
All NSHE (Nevada System of Higher Education) institutions evaluated the offer of Google Apps for Higher Education when the decision was made to terminate SCS student accounts. Most NSHE campuses chose to allow students to select their own preferred accounts (examples: pre-existing, ISP-related, etc) and then invest funds, time and energy into modifying University systems to accept those email addresses. As long as a student, faculty or staff member registers their preferred email with the University, privileges and special offers formerly associated with UNR-branded accounts will remain available.
