Has the Zoo realized savings on heating or cooling since the green roof was installed?
A.: I’m sure we have, but there was no data collected on the building before the green roof was installed. We have nothing to use for comparison. Q.: Do you plan to implement a green roof on any other buildings? A.: I’m sure it’s in the planning stages, but nothing is definite. A.: I was at Phipps about 5 ½ years, and then worked as an estate gardener for three more. I’ve been at the Zoo thirteen years.
