Has the Summit Racing Pontiac Firebird done any testing at Columbus lately?
No we haven’t, but we’re looking at possibly going there this weekend to test. How would you evaluate your season as we approach the halfway post? We would love to be in the top-10 right now. We’re less than a round out right now in 11th place. At Atlanta we made some wrong decisions and we should have been qualified there. But it looks like everyone goes through it because our class is so competitive that if you’re not making the right run in the right session, you’re not racing on race day. I’m very pleased with the progress the Summit Racing Firebird has made in the last couple of months. We started coming around in April and ran really good at Englishtown, both in qualifying and during competition. We broke our engine and obviously, when you put a bunch of new parts in, you’re worried that it won’t run the same. We came out with fresh parts and the hope that it would run even better. We made what I would consider a very impressive performance at Chicago, and it’s really got me back
