Has the plot of land any practical value in real terms ?
Of course not. Afterall it only measures one square yard and is not even good agricultural land!! Its real value lies in the emotional satisfaction of actually owning a small piece of the Old Country. The fact that the plot in question consists of uncut bog ( peat land ) gives it additional sentimental value, bearing in mind the huge part that turf ( peat ) played in the life of our ancestors. An added bonus is its scenic location overlooking Trawenagh Bay and the surrounding mountainous terrain.
