Has The Music Settlement purchased the Coventry Elementary School?
The Music Settlement has reached an agreement in principle with the school district to purchase property associated with the former Coventry School for a state of the art Early Childhood Center. The Music Settlement and the CH-UH district are in continuing negotiations regarding the purchase and transfer of ownership of the property and recently had the property reappraised to provide further information. Per state requirements, the district will offer the property for sale through public auction. Due to the current contract between the district and University Hospital Systems, the transfer of property can take place no sooner than January 1, 2011.
