Has the make-up of a typical Penikese boy changed at over the years?
Yes. As little as 12 years ago, Penikese worked almost exclusively with juvenile corrections and juvenile offenders, or boys who had been convicted of certain crimes. Today, although some of our students have open cases with the court, Penikese prefers to work with boys preventatively, earlier in their progression to address the underlying factors contributing to their behavior.
