Yes, the show is finished for good. Ilene Chaiken (the creator of the show) has spoken about the possibility of an L Word movie, but other than that there are no plans for another series. In the final episode (of season 6) Jenny drowns in Bette and Tina’s pool. The inference is that she was murdered and that one of the girls within the circle of friends did it, but we don’t find out who. A spin-off series of the show called The Farm is being produced featuring Alice’s character in prison, so it may be fair to think that she did it, or at least is the one who’s taking the blame for it. I really suggest you watch from season 1 onwards, the first season was my favourite!
