Has the design of the Velux Roller blinds changed?
• Yes. In July 2005, Velux commenced phasing out the old RNL-type Roller blinds. These were the ones with the wooden side panels and notches in the sides into which the blind was secured. The current Velux (RFL) type Roller blinds have aluminium side channels, meaning the blind can be held in any place on the window. • You can no longer purchase Velux blinds with these old-type wooden siderails. All blinds now come with brushed aluminium siderails (GGU and GPU windows have the white UPVC option siderail option). • Velux phased out some of the colour options for some of the blind types in February 2008. If the colour you are looking for does not seem to be available, this could be the reason why. Contact us for confirmation and to discuss other colour options.
