Has the City’s Artist in Residence for Transit Corridors done any work on the site, for example, preparing site designs for the transit station area adjacent to the property?
Seitu Jones, the City’s Artist in Residence for Transit Corridors, is working with Juxtaposition Arts to identify opportunity areas for public art enhancements on West Broadway Avenue and design an aesthetic language for the avenue, to be articulated through such streetscape elements as benches, banners, bike racks, fencing and railings. These design elements will be incorporated into the West Broadway Alive! plan and developers all along the avenue will be encouraged to incorporate them into plans for their property.
