Has the City looked at giving the major roads (14 Mile and Main Street) to the Road Commission after reconstruction (i.e., Rochester Road)?
The current policy objective of the County Road Commission is to rid themselves of as many local and major streets as possible. We have already been approached to accept Rochester Rd. into our street inventory and respectfully declined. The County has expressed no interest in accepting new streets.
