Has the antihistimine Benadryl (or its active ingredient) been taken off the US market in tablet/capsule form?
No you can still by benadryl in tablet form. I’m not sure what illegal drug is made from benadryl. Are you sure you are not thinking of ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, those are both base products used in meth production. In much of the US the amount of these drugs you can buy at one time has been limited and is kept behind the pharmacy counter.
