Has that made it difficult to include the standard array of FPS sound effects – gunfire, explosions, etc.?
Francis Lillie, Lead Programmer: Standard FPS sounds tend to be not the “cleanest” of sounds anyway, so I don’t feel we’ve had many, if any, problems implementing sound effects. Our sound engine is pretty good. RW: We have taken a lot of time to get the sound effects right – to make the gunshots as authentic as possible and the explosions to have some kick. With the Sound FX, combined with the in-game music soundtrack we are confident we have the best sounding GBA FPS to date.
