Has PSBA abandoned efforts to halt the GCA proposal?
PSBA remains opposed to the GCA proposal adopted by the State Board of Education last January and currently the subject of the one-year moratorium that was imposed last July under Act 61 of 2008. However, it is important to note that the GCA proposal effectively was removed from consideration by the Rendell Administration and PSBA when the two parties reached agreement on the Keystone Exams alternative.
