They were plans for him to sing Sweet Home Alabama with them and he would sing the line “A southern man don’t need me around anyhow” which originally was “A southern man don’t need him around anyhow” However when the plane crash happened it ruined any chance of this happening. They had made up and on the DVD live rust one of the members of Crazy Horse can be seen wearing a Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt.
