Has Italy EVER won a war?
I suppose you have to include the Roman empire, so you could say they’ve won a few. Italy fought with the allies in WW1, so you might include that. Of course for a long time after Rome faded from history there was no ‘Italy’, rather it was a collection of small states often at war with each other. Italy didn’t become ‘Italy’ until about 1860 and until WW1 was involved in no foreign wars. In WW2 Italy sided with Germany and both of those countries lost to the allies by 1945. Italy has fielded some excellent special ops soldiers since WW2, but since they haven’t actually been in a war since 1945 the overall record is fairly thin.
