Has Focus on the Family reviewed William P. Youngs novel, The Shack?

0

Although our ministry has not conducted an in-depth analysis of Mr. Young’s novel, we encourage you to consider a review written by Glenn R. Kreider and posted on Chuck Swindoll’s Insight for Living Web site. In addition, two members of our staff posted their thoughts on The Shack at The Line, a blog for single adults offered through Focus on the Family’s Boundless outreach. These blog posts are titled “The Shack: Ramshackle Theology,” “But It’s Only Fiction,” “Can God Use a Flawed Book?” and “Christ’s Most Sacred Moment, Dismissed in ‘The Shack'” Finally, Boundless has also reprinted a lengthy review by Tim Challies that you may find helpful. You can read Mr. Challies’ thoughts at “The Shack, A Review.” Boundless also published an additional article called “God’s Not the Defendant” that may interest you.
