Has FIFA President Sepp Blatter lost his marbles?
FIFA President Sepp Blatter is quoted as saying that women should play in more feminine clothes like they do in basketball, and that they could for example have tighter shorts. He went on to say that they already have some different rules than men such as playing with a lighter ball, which of course is blatantly untrue. It make you wonder where he has been watching the women’s game. It is the sort of macho comment that we have come to expect from Italy, not from the head of the world’s soccer organization. It is pathetic to hear such a sexist remark from a man in his position.
