No, we don’t check or vet anyone listed on our database, and we don’t know anyone personally who uses this site – please also read our Terms & Conditions for further explanations. Happy Domestics is not an agency of any kind and doesn’t vet any of its users or advertisers. We don’t know whether information given in the listings is complete and accurate. Please always make sure that the person you’d like to give the job is allowed to work in the UK, and check references thoroughly before you employ someone or visit anyone’s home. This includes calling the referee and asking further questions. Never accept references which you can’t read, or referees who are unavailable or don’t speak a language you can understand.
