Has everybody been offered a free gift for answers birthday?
Nearly all people who have claimed to receive this or a similiar email are at Levels 4 and 5 or above and registered with the UK answers site. That in itself is an interesting statement. The reassuring wording that “domainkeys has confirmed that this email has come from yahoo-email.com” also helps matters. Yahoo-email.com IS registered to Yahoo. That link though does not go to a Yahoo webpage – it seems to, but your internet history cache will reveal otherwise – surv.cheetahmail.com – a company based in New York, part of the Experian group, which seems to be otherwise legit and have a proper privacy policy. Is or isn’t Yahoo answers a year old? The US and International sites are I am sure, but I’m not sure about the UK and Ireland section. This claim could be true. Some people have got gifts in the past. Others remember filling in a survey some time ago asking what type of gifts they would like to receive.
