Has China changed since the Tiananmen Square massacre?
Tiananmen Square is very much there exactly as it was in 1989. Only there are more skyscraping buildings all over the place around the Square, I would imagine. And the Olympic Stadia. Nothing else except for the skyline has changed much over there in China, in my understanding. But prospects of another student uprising and massacre are considerably reduced now.
