Many years ago I sold one of my paintings to Charlie Sheen. It was a conventional transaction with the usual conventional wisdom. I was young and so was he. However the woman he was with at the time defied all conventional wisdom in all possible ways. She knew that I knew it too. He knew that she knew that I knew it. That is what he like about her. I think he still has that habit.
