Has Australia Lost Their Killer Instinct?
I agree, but killer instinct is something that develops over time and comes from winning consistently which gives a team the confidence and belief to be able to step up and take the game by the throat when it’s there to be taken. We currently haven’t got a team that can win consistently and allow that self belief to form. We have decent batters and Haddin is a good keeper/batsmen but our bowlers are hardly a dominant attack. There’s no decent spinner and no real strike bowler. Johnson had a stellar series in South Africa but hasn’t done much since. Clarke is deemed to old and Lee is struggling with injuries, but also never quite up to it IMO. Our bowling stocks have to improve before we’ll get our killer instinct back. @ Krishnam: if you want you views about “groupism” to be accepted you may need to explain them in more detail. I don’t really have a clue what you mean!
