Has anyone used a humidifier in a babys room?

I’ve used them with a baby I nannied. He had a bad cold (at about 4 months old) and he was really congested. Along with typical antiobotics and stuff, the doctor told his mom and I to keep a humidifier in the room he was in as much as we could. We put one in the living room and one in his room. He also tol dus to use Little Noses Saline Mist and put it in his nose and use the little nose sucker bulb to clean out his nose at least 15 times a day. He told us that if we did all this, we could keep him from getting worse, and that he was on the verge of getting RSV. So we did all of that, and it really helped a lot. He seemed to breathe a lot better and sleep better, since he could breathe, and he got better in about a week or so. Sick or not though, having a humidifier in a room with anyone is a good thing.
