Has anyone used a bark control collar?
Shock collar were invented for VERY specific ‘purpose’ training used with already very highly trained dogs by VERY highly trained professionals. Unfortunately these were then used by idiots who train dogs and charge people a fortune for doing so, to get quick instant fix results, these ‘trainers’ don’t care what happens to these dogs, just the money they receive and have no concern that using these collars can and does cause real behaviourial problems which are often long term. They have now been released into the pet market, the most stupid action EVER, to people who have no idea about cause and affect, natural animal behaviour or dog training in general and are causing the most damage to dogs who may never recover.People just want instant fixes, not thinking about what may happen in the future to the dogs other behaviours.
