Has anyone tried trichloroacetic acid for tattoo removal/fading?
I just started with TCA I bought off ebay. It was 100% and I diluted to about 60%. After one treatment, I see noticeable fading already. I will caution you not to be scared when it starts to get hard and the skin comes off in chunks. It scared the piss outta me. This is normal. I am doing my second treatment this weekend out of the same small bottle, it should be good for 3-4 treatments. I used a natural hair small paint brush to avoid touching any skin that didn’t need treatment. It is best to have someone else do this for you because of the location. My tattoo is on my back as well and my fiance does the applying. I modified the instructions slightly because they say 50%. I say use what’s best for you to get the peel. There will be a burning/tingling sensation. This is normal. I kept the acid on for about 2.5 minutes and rinsed it with baby soap instead of cold water because it’s mild and gentle but still cleaned the acid off. The best advice I can give you is to keep it moisturized;
