Has anyone tried the new “Clear 2 Go Water Bottle?”?
I got a free clear2go bottle at this earth day celebration, and I never heard of the product beforehand. There was a guy showing a demonstration with the bottle when i got mine. He put this black-colored liquid into the bottle, and when he placed the filtered top on it the water came out crystal clear! Seemed pretty amazing at first, but when i took my bottle home and filled it up with tap water, the water didn’t taste any different, although the company claims that it reduces the chlorine taste. The only thing i can say about this bottle is that it makes me more confident when i drink from the tap. I wouldn’t recommend this product, especially since the website sells them at $17 a bottle, but if you’re trying to save money by switching from bottled water to reusable bottles, i think you should get a normal BPA-free reusable bottle and refill it with drinking water. I’ve seen Walmart carry generic-branded reusable water bottles for $4, so you should check those out instead!
