Has Anyone Tried Cutting Steel Roofing (i.e. Corrugated Sheets) With A Circular Saw Blade?
I have seen two types of circular saw blade available that say they can cut steel – one is an abrasive disk that grinds away material, and the other is a special profile carbide-tipped blade. I am worried about sparks from an abrasive blade that can damage the paint on roofing panels. On the other hand, I am worried about a carbide-tipped blade catching, kicking back, knocking off inserts, as well as sparks.
