Air France have unrealistic minimum connection times at CDG … I think they allow bookings down to 45 minute connection times … which really is unachievable a lot of the time. An hour and a half should be okay – but if you have the option to extend this to 3 hours and it doesn’t impact the rest of your schedule it mightn’t be a bad idea (if extending it meant you ended up with a 5 hour wait or something maybe then that wouldn’t be such a good idea) It can be a handy tip to not do the CDG equivalent of the “flight connections centre” route … and instead follow the “Exit” signs and go landside … then it’s a very short walk from 2F to 2C/2D (it’s just a few hundred yards – you walk past the train station) … The flight connections route can involve lengthy queues for a shuttle bus and it’s unlikely to be quicker than walking yourself If you did “mis-connect” on the outbound leg while they would have to look after you it would be likely that you’d have a forced overnight in Paris t
