Has anyone taken Fluoxetine Anti-depressants during pregnancy?

Hi. Yes, I took 20mg daily for a few months during my pregnancy. I actually felt well enough to stop taking it at about 7 months, so weaned myself of it, although my doctor told me I was fine to carry on taking it if I needed to. I gave birth yesterday, and so far so good. I’m not ruling out having to go back on the tablets; I suffered from post natal depression last time. But I’m not going to beat myself up over it, if I need the drugs, I will take them. For me, the benefits outweighed any doubts I had. I found taking fluoxetine a bit of a lifeline really. I was also prescribed lorazepam which I took short term at about 6 months. I really hope you feel better soon.
