Has anyone stayed at the Animal Kingdom Hotel in Orlando?
My in-laws came to Orlando and stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The AK Lodge is one of the deluxe resorts at Disney, so it’s very quality. The lobby of the resort is amazing, with all the decorations they have. It’s open up to four floors above, with massive light fixtures and a large bridge looming overhead. They really make it seem like you’re going on an African safari.If you’re lucky, you’ll get a room with a view of the savannah, which is cool because in the morning, while drinking coffee you can sit on your patio and watch the animals. As far as the animal fur allergy, I don’t think that you have to worry because you won’t be able to get too close to the animals and the decorations all use faux fur. Be sure to check out the restaurants at AK Lodge, Boma and Jiko. The food there is amazing and well worth the money. It’s a good idea to make priority seatings ahead of time, even before you get to Disney. That will cut down on the wait time.
