Has anyone recently started or is currently taking Celexa for Anxiety?

I’ve been experiencing Anxiety for almost a year now. I was taking Klonopin about 3 times a week, but my doc suggested that I get on a longterm anxiety medication. The following reasons are why I agreed to go on a longterm med: 1) it’s been a whole year and I’m still experienceing anxiety 2) It was only affecting me at work at first and now it’s affecting me outside of work in public areas. Anyhoo, I recently started taking Celexa. It’s been two and a half weeks and i’m taking .5mg (it’s a 10mg pill but my doc told me to cut it in half because i’m sensitive to medicine) and it’s not making me feel any different. How long did it take for you to start feeling the effects? I believe that there is an anti anxiety med for everyone, you just have to try different ones. I’ve tried other meds (i.e., effexor and lexapro) and experienced bad side affects and I don’t have any bad side effects with Celexa. I would like to hear from people that have used Celexa with positive results. Cat, thanks fo
