Has anyone out there used a Speech Easy device? Is it worth the money?
I have a friend who bought the speech easy ear device and from what he says,he bought a $6,000.00 peice of CRAP! The device as shown on TV and News channels show very rare cases of someone who becomes fluent using the device.Though it may help some people,but I would say only 1%. All the device is,is delayed audio feed back.They say it tricks the brain,but all in all if anything is tricked,it would be you buying it. My advice would be to go to a speech therapist where you can try the audio delayed system for a minium cost if not free.If it works at first,DO NOT get your hopes up.Your brain will be tricked for a little while,but the brain will soon catch on and regroup.The people shown on TV,showing them talking fluent when they first use it is more less true,but only last for so long.Like I said,the brain is very powerful,it knows what its doing,it cannot be “Tricked” for long.There is no cure for Stuttering.If you have an extra $6k,save it.
