Has anyone on here had a partner whos been in jail in the uk?
It drags at first but then u get used to it & get into a routine.U start to realy look forward to visits.I used to write loads of letters.They were almost like a diary some of them,like a running comentary of what i was doing day to day.I also used to try & ask him stuff to giv him something to write about coz he used to say not a lot happened in jail so asking questions gave him something to put in his letters.It does get easier as time goes on & u get used to it but its so good when he finally gets out.Its not hard to wait if you love him its only hard from the point of view that u miss him.Jail quite often makes or breaks a relationship.U both find out if u realy love each other by what happens & how u handle it while hes away.If u truly love him u wil be able to wait,it wil be no difrent to if he was working away(thats wot u can tel any1 u dont want to know where he is).If u dont love him enough time wil tel.Good luck & take heart that with each day hes a day nearer to coming home.
