Has anyone mixed the Floral Lace pattern with the Old World pattern?

I have started collecting the Old World cranberry. I have the dinnerware set, plus an Old World Embossed set in cranberry. I LOVE the Floral Lace but am wondering if the patterns would be too contradictory. I don’t want to start all over with a different pattern.
