Has anyone heard of an officially undiscovered sloth-like animal in Australia?

If the animal were “undiscovered”, we wouldn’t know about it, but here are some descriptions and photos of animals similar to sloths to help you identify your mystery creature. First, there are two types of sloths, two-toed and three-toed. Three-toed sloths are larger, and generally gray-brown with a hue of green due to the algae that grows on their back. Two-toed sloths move more quickly and are brownish with hairless faces. Neither sloth has more than a stump for tail. Both unfortunately reside in upper South America. http://www.sloth.ca/sloths/pics.html The spotted phalanger (or cuscus) is my best bet, and it’s 2 feet long sans prehensile tail. It’s a nocturnal marsupial related to possums that’s very slow-moving like sloths, has a monkeylike face, and can be white, gray, or rust with light blotches. It’s found in upper Australia and also possibly vulnerable, so would be considered rare.
