I know its not quite what you asked but i have had root canal yesterday and have to go back next week for the dentist to shape the tooth for a crown and then back a week later to fit the crown (gold tooth) for the whole treatment the bill is £185 on the NHS, try and get registered with a NHS dentist i live in oxfordshire and there are quite a few dentist practises taking on new NHS Patience all the time. even though you have had some of the treatment done an NHS practise should still take you on and save you loads of cash.
