Has anyone had overheat problems with Dells Inspiron laptops?

0

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 I configured it for Vista even tho i ended up putting XP on it. I noticed mine getting so hot it would peel small (about 1/4″) of paint off the desk. I was worried so i felt it one day after some gaming it was really hot on the bottom especially around where the ram is located, tho never overheated. But to help keep things cool I bought a Belkin Laptop Cooler, it raises the laptop about an inch and also has a fan that blows air on the bottom of the laptop, tho the area it blows is dependent on the laptop it happens to blow on the ram thus keeping things cool, I do clean out the system every once and a while to get dust and such out, but other than that never had an overheat problem and i’ve had this laptop for close to a year.
