Has anyone had multiple D&C procedures done?
I had A D&C in September 2006 and then another one in February 2007. (Both around the 8 week mark) Each time my doctor gave me several options, but I chose to have a D&C. Like you said, I didn’t want to go through the trauma at home. There are always risks with every sugical procedure but knowing and trusting my doctor gave me a real peace of mind. I am now almost 13 weeks pregnant again, but early on I prepared myself mentally for another D&C if necessary. I thank God everyday that everything seems to be going well now. I am truly sorry for your losses and I pray for all the women who have experienced what we have. Don’t give up. Make you doctor run every test in the book on you, your partner, and the fetus.
