Has anyone had good results with swinging/open relationships?
My wife and I have had an open relationship for the past 6 years, and we’ve never had any problems between ourselves regarding it. The key is that you are both on the same page about it and the lines of communication stay wide-open. As long as you do, you’ll never have any problems. There are those that will tell you “I know someone who’s marriage was destroyed by swinging”, however the truth be known it wasn’t swinging or having an open relationship that destroyed their marriage. They destroyed their own marriage. Many people that try having an open relationship are doing it as a last ditch effort to not get divorced, as if having sex with other people will magically fix all those years of neglect and damage they themselves did to their relationship. It doesn’t. It just makes it worse. It just gives them something else to fight about.
