Has anyone had any success in litter box training Shih Tzu?

I have not litter trained a Shih Tzu but I have indoor trained two Chi/Poodle mixes. We used a WizDog ( http://www.wizdog.com ). It is a plastic tray with a plastic grate. You simply put a puppy pad or newspaper in the tray and cover with the grate that way the dog doesn’t walk directly on the pee. If they poo on it the poo sits on the grate and you can pick it up and flush it. (at least that is what we do…we have a roll of TP near by to pick it up). You can change the paper or pad when needed and clean the plastic tray in a sink or with a spray bottle and paper towel. It works great and is much less messy than litter. Here is an article I wrote about potty training to help you as well. http://www.purebredpups.org/Dog_Articles… Hope this helps!
