Has anyone had an ulcer without having the H. Pylori bacteria?
A blood test will only detect the H. Pylori bacteria the first time. If you kill the bacteria the anti-bodies will still show up in the blood. The only way to then see if you really killed the bateria or see if has come back is with a breath test or a biopsy taken from the stomach. Yes you can have ulsers without having H. Pylori bacteria.
