Has anyone had a pregnancy after using the drug Clomid?
I didn’t conceive while on Clomid but I gave up after only 3 rounds for right now. Hubby and I want to enjoy the holidays. I took my first cycle in July and here is how my cycles/dosage went.. Cycle 1- 50 mg days 5-9, didn’t ovulate and had a 30 day cycle, no side effects Cycle 2- 50 mg days 5-9, ovulated day 20 and had a 39 day cycle, no real side effects Cycle 3-100 mg days 5-9, ovulated day 19 and had a 36 day cycle, had a lot of hot flashes while taking the pills I have always had 26-29 day cycles before Clomid but my doctor said Clomid can make your cycles longer than normal. She also suggested testing at 18 dpo. We thought Clomid would be our miracle after ttc for 12 months so we got discouraged and stressed out with it very quickly. I will see my doctor again in January and may do 3 more rounds of it. She truly believes it will work for us.
