Has anyone had a cone biopsy in the past, but still carried a healthy baby to full-term?

I found out that I had HPV when I was 14 weeks pregnant with my first daughter. They did a colposcopy at that time but decided to wait until after I had delivered to do a biopsy. I had a cone biopsy done in three places 6 weeks after giving birth. I found out I was pregnant again when my baby girl was 4 months old (I was a month pregnant at that point). I have reached full term now (I’m 38 weeks). With this pregnancy I’ve had some unexplained bleeding off and on throughout the pregnancy, but never a lot of blood. I’m still having abnormal paps so after this little one is born I’ll have at least one more biopsy and then they’re going to freeze my cervix. So, yes, you can go on to have a healthy, full term baby after having a cone biopsy. I’m sorry for your loss last year, but keep thinking positive about your current pregnancy. Good luck and congratulations!
