Has anyone got experience with a Hope Hed Doctor?
PROBLEM SOLVED Okay, I managed to sort this one out…. It was staring me right in the face. Okay, so the Hed Doctor was inside the tube, and I was tightening it and expanding the wedge so it applies pressure to the inside walls….The idea being that that is enough to lodge it in place…. But it wasn’t enough initially. (After putting in the topcap screw and screwing it, it sucked out the Hed Doctor. So I thouroughly cleaned the inside of the steertube with soap, and ditto with the sides of the Hed Doctor, so there was no residue/sweat/grease or anything slippery allowing it to slide out…. Then I put the forks on my bed, on their side, and slowly adjusted the Doctor (outside) and put just half of it inside, until I found enough pressure for me to squeeze it in with the walls of the Doctor being snug against the inside walls of the steertube….. Instead of the recommended 1cm depth Hope tells you to do, I put it a bit more, like 2cm…. Now this is the interesting part…. With the
