Has anyone got any tips on memorizing french texts?
What helps me with memorizing text, especially if your going to speak them is first dividing it into sections. Making sure that the sections are manageable and that you can cope with learning. Then, chunk by chunk learn the sections by saying them over and over again. This lets your brain learn the patterns and it may sound silly but it works. Keep saying it over and over, then cover it and say as much as you can without looking. Once your confident move on to the next one and as you say that section from memory always go from the top, so say your on section three, when covering it up instead of just saying section three out loud say all three sections, that way you cover the piece numerous times and by the time you finish you should have said the first section numerous times. Plus once you get started in the test it will come easy to you, so the continued repeating of section one will help you brain remember the pattern for the rest of the pice, remember take it slow when memorizing.
