Has anyone got any tips for getting pregnant?
Hey there I’d suggest using ovulation tests, they pinpoint when you are going to ovulate so you know to have sex on the right day/days as you can obviously only get pregnant one day out of each month Another tip would be to use Preseed, I have heard so many good reports about it, people TTC for years and then using preseed one month and getting pregnant straight away It is just a sperm friendly lube that acts as extra EWCM (Egg white cervical fluid, the type that you only get naturally a couple of days each cycle, that helps the sperm to stick and swim) Finally I’d suggest a book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler It was recommended to me when I first started trying, almost a year ago, and I only got it recently, I wish I had got it a year ago, it is great for helping you understand your cycle Good luck and baby dust to you!!
I take a baby aspirin daily because Aspirin is known to suppress natural killer cells in your uterus. It also improves blood flow to the ovaries improving follicle development and it improves blood flow to the uterus, which will improve the uterine lining. This increases the odds that implantation will be successful. Also, during pregnancy it will help prevent a miscarriage. . Robitussin and Evening Primrose Oil are to help with cervical mucus. Here’s some info on EPO: Take 1,000 IU per day from Cycle Day 1 to Ovulation. Do not take EPO after ovulation because EPO causes uterine contractions which may interfere with implantation. EPO is a great source of Essential Fatty Acids “EFA”. All living cells need fatty acids for rebuilding and producing new cells. EFAs are used by the body to produce substances that send messages. These messages trigger the important events that need to occur each cycle! Those important events? Hormones Info on Robitussin: Take recommended dose on label of plain
I would recommend ovulation predictor kits. I used the clear blue fertility monitor as I was trying for a while with no joy. It turned out that (by use of my predictor kit) I was ovulating anywhere between CD19 and CD22 from month to month. This was throwing baby making effort off by a week. The monitor let me know my high fertile days and my two peak fertility days. I used the fertility friend web page to chart my cycle, fertile days etc and I found that the information I collected was invaluable as I eventually had to visit my obgyn. I am now happy to say I am 24 weeks pregnant and I really think doing the above really helped.
