Has anyone got any experience with muscovy ducks they would like to share?
If anyone will give you the best advice on muscovys it is me, i have about two dozen of them here in lots of different colours, black and white, white, chocolate, chocolate and white, barred, bibbed, grey etc. when i first got my muscovys i clipped their wings because i was worried they would fly away, but since, i have got more of them and i didn’t clip their wings and they fly around but only around the garden and not far, they are great hatchers, on average last year each of my ducks hatched about 17 ducklings each and only a few died in total, although i would recommend that you take alot of the ducklings off the mother and rear them up in a garden shed under a lamp, because when they are left with the mother alot more get lost, well thats what happend to me anyway,and they grom twice as fast indoors. They are not noist at all, because they dont quack, they make a hissing noise instead, the only mess they make are their droppings, i recommend putting tones of hay in the house you p
