Has anyone felt nauseous a couple of days after conception?

It’s possible if you are among the women who get severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy; however, women who feel nauseous after only a few days after conception have dangerous levels of nausea that last all through the first trimester, sometimes beyond. It’s very, very unlikely that you are one of these women. I have Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and I started feeling nauseous maybe three weeks in. I almost had to be hospitalized and my case was not considered very bad. Most women with HG have to be hospitalized and fed through a special IV that goes directly to the heart, called a PICC line. If you’re trying to determine pregnancy based on nausea you’re having now, my suggestion is, don’t. A test is a much surer way of knowing. I know it’s hard to wait when you’re excited or scared about the possibility, but that’s the only way you’re going to know. Don’t take our experiences with nausea as an answer to that question.
