Has anyone failed the one hour glucose test then passed the 3 hour test?

Only about 5% of pregnant women develop Gestational Diabetes. It is common for women to have elevated numbers with their 1 hour test, but most go on to have normal levels with their 3 hour test. It’s not really a “pass or fail” type of test. The one hour test is used as a diagnostic tool to see if a woman should have the 3 hour test. Your blood glucose results will be considered in the normal range, elevated, or low, which isn’t as common. With my 4th pregnancy I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes after an elevated 1 hour test with the same results after the 3 hour test. All the other women I know who had to have the 3 hour test had results in the normal range.
